Welcome to aswt.net, it is just a simple site that I am creating/have created/will create to let no one in particular know about what I do/am/think.
Who am I?
Incase you were wondering I am a college student from California. I am studying physics and am in my second year. I would like to continue my education after my Bachelor's degree, but am going to try and get my teaching credentials as soon as possible after this degree. Education is very important to me and a lot of information here will be about it. Primarily cool physcis videos and articles I have found, but I will also write a few things on what I think is wrong with the education system.
I also bicycle... Constantly. I bicycle to school, work, wherever. I used to ride with the Midnight Ridazz bicycle ride almost every weekend, but since I am far away form LA my attendence has been lacking, but I still try and show up every once in a while. I ride a fixed-gear bike I converted myself from a 12 speed Centurion Le Mans. It is a great bike.
I love music. I have been involved in music since high school. I was in the schools marching band, jazz band, and pretty much any band you could be apart of. I played xylophone and other mallet percussion at school. I began taking electric bass lessons starting my freshman year of school. Now I have been working on electronic music using, although I am not very good it has been fun, and have gotten some good insights into the world of developing art along with deeper insights to life and that sort of thing.
I have been programming since a young age starting in QBasic on DOS. Throughout my years I have done it off and on and am not as adept as I wish I could be, but I think I have learned a good bit of programming in my years. I mainly work with web stuff and do a lot of work in PHP. I am currently learning C# to use ASP.NET
